Son Bou Villa Holidays

If you’re heading to Menorca, Son Bou you’re most probably looking forward to making the most of the gorgeous sandy beach and sampling pina coladas at Bou Hai. In a resort that offers so much to the foreign visitor it is nice to give a little something back to the community – so why not arrange to spend a day of your holiday helping Menorca’s “Cats in Need”.

The Cats in Need charity is looking for visitors to help by feeding stray cats and although some parts of the island are now installed with automatic cat feeders, it is important for volunteers to check that the cats have enough food and water. Whilst feeding the cats is rewarding the most important part of Cats in Need’s work is catching and neutering stray cats. They have been successful in neutering a large number of cats since the charity started in 1998.

Cats in Need also have a shelter on the island which helps to re-home stray cats and they’re always looking for volunteers. What could be more rewarding on your holiday then spending a couple of hours playing with needy kitty-cats? We guarantee that you’ll have difficulty leaving your new furry friends behind, and who knows you may even come home with a new addition to the family!
